SUPPORT

Dear Potential Supporter,

The Western Region of NBLSA (WRBLSA) includes all Black Law Student Association chapters in the Western part of our nation—from Alaska down to Hawaii to California over to Colorado. The mission of the National Black Law Student Association is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black and minority attorneys who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Each year we seek to achieve this mission by providing several programs and opportunities for our law student members. This year's theme is "24/8: Fostering Professional Competence, Academic Excellence, and Social Movement. We will turn this vision into action by hosting job fairs, networking activities, legal professional trainings, and academic development.

In addition to our normal programming, we will continue to host our academic retreat in October 2021. Students will have an opportunity to attend panel discussions, participate in workshops, and learn from practicing attorneys, judges, and legal professionals, these are effective strategies they can implement to excel in the classroom. Also, throughout the year will we host brown paper bag lunch sessions with members in the legal community, several networking events, and community service projects.

Finally, this coming January, we will be hosting our 2022 Regional Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada at UNLV School of Law. Each year our regional convention brings students from throughout our region together to celebrate black excellence through moot court and mock trial competitions, networking events, panel discussions, as well as community service initiatives that allow us to give back to our community.

But in order to put on these amazing programs, we need your help. Your contribution will assist us providing the meaningful programming and opportunities for our members to reach their full potential. By clicking the GIVE NOW button and donating to our sponsorship program, your contribution will be helping provide the means for us to achieve the mission of the National Black Law Student Association and help turn the law students of today into the legal leaders of tomorrow.

Sincerely,

WRBLSA's 54rd Executive Board
