One of the highlights of my journey was meeting esteemed civil rights attorney Ben Crump at the 57th Annual NBLSA Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. During our conversation, Attorney Crump emphasized the importance of courageously speaking up in the face of opposition and reminded us that Black law students represent the future of the civil rights movement.
