About
Hello and welcome! I'm Precious "Alannah" Turner, and I am honored to serve as the Chair of the Western Region of the National Black Law Students Association (WRBLSA). Advocacy, equity, and representation are at the heart of everything I do, and I'm passionate about empowering Black law students by fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
Currently, I'm a first-year law student at Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where my dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion extends beyond the classroom. I also serve as the Political Action Chair for the Orange County NAACP and as a Special Projects Paraprofessional in Chapman University's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In these roles, I strive to create impactful initiatives and conversations around social justice and the rights of protected classes.
My professional journey is diverse, encompassing successful entrepreneurial ventures and extensive experience in technology and business management. This background has equipped me with the resilience and creativity needed to effectively lead WRBLSA, addressing our members' evolving needs and promoting positive change in the broader legal community.
As your Chair, I'm committed to creating meaningful opportunities, amplifying marginalized voices, and ensuring WRBLSA remains a vibrant and influential advocate within the legal profession.
